| The Highway 66 bridge known as Bloody Bride Bridge is appropriately named. A young woman was supposedly murdered in an accident here while traveling to her wedding. Keep your eyes open; she still appears to passing motorists at night, either in the backseat or in the rearview mirror of their automobiles. Boy Scout Lane, located nearby, is another supposedly haunted area in Stevens Point. A group of Boy Scouts mysteriously vanished here, and legend has it that their laughter may still be heard echoing through the trees. Even though there's no evidence that this truly occurred, the lonely dead-end street provides for a creepy backdrop. | |
